Início DESTAQUE Alunos do Anglo-CID recebem nove premiações no Torneio Escolar de Xadrez No dia 20 de outubro, a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Dracena realizou um Torneio Escolar de Xadrez, organizado pelo professor Giovani Pigozzi, no espaço do Projeto Criança Feliz. O evento contou com a participação de 76 alunos da rede municipal de ensino e dos colégios particulares da cidade, entre eles o AngloCID. “Somos iniciantes, mas nossos alunos conquistaram 8 medalhas de bronze e 1 de prata”, comemora a Profa. Esp. Aline Siqueira, que conduz as turmas do projeto de xadrez no AngloCID. “O xadrez começou como atividade extracurricular este ano e é mais um programa educativo oferecido gratuitamente aos alunos do nosso colégio”, relembra. Os medalhistas foram os alunos do 5º ano do ensino fundamental Artur Alexandre de Souza Queiroz, Clara Mazini Fortes, Ellam Holdens Menegate Amaral, Felipe Luiz Dalarme, Júlia Castro Pires de Araújo, Letícia de Souza Balsan, Maria Cecília Nogueira Guimarães Pigozzi e Daniel Brandão Fantin (este do 3º ano), que conquistaram o bronze; além de Maria Clara Barbosa Durando, que foi medalha de prata. A diretora Eulália Pires Fava parabenizou a equipe de xadrez pela participação no evento. Ressaltou que as aulas de xadrez proporcionam o desenvolvimento de diversas habilidades, como raciocínio lógico e concentração, além de ser um esporte saudável que contribui com o desenvolvimento da empatia entre os alunos e colaboradores. Aulas de Xadrez no AngloCID (Ensino Fundamental) 1º e 2º anos: segunda- -feira, das 16h30 às 17h20 3º, 4º e 5º anos: quarta- -feira, das 16h30 às 17h20 Os interessados em participar devem ir à aula e procurar a professora Aline.
