Os últimos dias tem sido de grande apreensão em Dracena pelo aumento de casos de contaminação do Covid 19. Os leitos preparados em Dracena para receber estes casos estão lotados e vários pacientes acometidos pela doença estão sendo transferidos para cidades da região.
A diretoria de comunicação da prefeitura divulgou uma nota em que o Prefeito André Lemos solicitou a Santa Casa ampliação da enfermaria. Segundo a nota da imprensa oficial do município, o avanço da doença na cidade é uma grande preocupação do executivo, que está tomando medidas para poder oferecer assistência de saúde aos doentes que procuram pelo serviço.
Por seu lado, a diretoria da Santa Casa pontuou que neste momento a estrutura da enfermaria local deverá ser revista, porque a pandemia ganhou proporções bem maiores que o ocorrido no ado, diz ainda a nota oficial.
No começo da noite de terça feira, o prefeito André Lemos anunciou em live que por decreto municipal, a cidade retrocede a fase laranja no protocolo de combate ao Covid 19.
Nesta quinta feira Lemos estará na capital paulista e solicitará ajuda do Governo do Estado de São Paulo.
